“I used to come through here all the time”, I said to my friend Sue as we walked through The Rocks in Sydney. “When Damien used to live here I used to climb up and down these stairs all the time”, I added. Back in those days, during the early 2000s, there was a large nearby paddock, which was the site of an archaeological dig which un-convered around 1-million artefacts.
These days, the archaeological dig is the site of a large Youth Hostel, though the integrity of the site has been maintained, as you’ll see in the photographs I took below.
